Terms, Policies & Conditions of Sales
Policies and conditions of sales will apply to all The Shabby Parlor Wholesale Dealers. Placement of an order assumes that these terms have been read, understood, and accepted.
Sales Polices:
Sales are done only to registered furniture dealers with Sales Tax ID Number approved by The Shabby Parlor, LLC. We require all dealers to have a storefront and carry inventory. Our products may only be offered online by customers who also have brick and mortar retail locations.
$2500 order minimums.
Product will be held until full payment is completed. We encourage you to confirm invoice and send payment as soon as possible in order to confirm your requested purchase order.
We do not offer delivery to wholesale customers at this time. However, we do have a freight carrier that we recommend dealers to if they do not have their own shipping arrangements. Please reach out for information and we would be happy to provide it. It will be the responsibility of the dealer to arrange pickup. TSP is not liable for any freight loss or transporting damages as soon as product leaves our warehouse.
Pickup is by appointment only. Please note our open hours are Thurs-Sunday, 10-3pm. Some Wednesday may also be available.
Please note, these are all handmade and handfinished pieces from Mexico. There could be minor variations or difference in dimensions and finishes between floor samples, printed or online illustrations and the furniture you receive.
All reports of legitimate factory defects must be issued within 10 business days of pickup with:
*Complete TSP SKU Numbers
*Order number, invoice number, or PO
*Clear photograph(s) of defect up close
*Clear photograph(s) of the whole piece
Claims should be submitted directly to theshabbyparlor@outlook.com . This credit or replacement is made solely to the retailer and is not transferable under any circumstances to the customer. TSP does not handle claims from Dealer customers. Please review below what will not be considered manufactured defects.
TSP accepts major credit cards with 2.4% processing fees. You may also wire your payment. Order is not fully confirmed until wire has cleared.
Packaging
All of our items are packed using foam wrap, corner blocks, and stretch wrap. We do not have boxed items at this time.
Product from our facilities is packed in a manner to be picked up from dealers in good condition. A final touch up and “deluxing” is expected from our dealers prior to delivering to the final customer. Handmade furniture from Mexico may need doors oiled and sanded before selling to a customer. It may require touchups on the part of the dealer. These are responsibilities assumed by the dealer when they purchase solid wood, hand made furniture from Mexico factories and TSP will not assume responsibility for these requirements. These are not considered manufacturer defects.
Each individual piece of furniture is made from solid wood parts and pieces, which means each item is unique. To provide this look, cracks, knots, knotholes, splits and uneven rubbed edges are purposefully left intact from original pieces of wood and in many instances additional man-made distressing is applied to emphasize it’s rustic charm. These are not manufacturer defects but unique features that add beauty and character.
Accordingly, expansions or shrinkage, small cracks and wood imperfections are inherent qualities of our products. Humidity or dry air can increase expansion and contractions. The results are not the responsibility of TSP. Additionally, heat and sun exposure can create discoloration and may require the Dealer to touch up a piece before selling to a customer. Discoloration or touchups remain the responsibility of each dealer. None of these will be considered manufacturer defects.
Broken glass or mirrors will be the responsibility of the Dealer. We do not replace or credit for broken mirrors or broken glass.
It is the responsibility of each Dealer to educate their customer base on how to care for solid wood furniture.
Product Finish:
Since differences in natural wood color and grain do affect finish, it is impossible to guarantee an exact match between two pieces of wood even with identical finishing processes. These difference in wood finishes are not defects but variations that make each piece unique and distinctive.
The purchase of our product by the dealer implies a full understanding of the inherent imperfections of TSP’s handmade product line, as well as the effect that climatic conditions have on this type of furniture, and it is the dealer’s responsibility to communicate this to the customer.
Online Retailers:
Drop shipping is not available. We do not accept e-commerce accounts at this time. Dealers with a brick and mortar retail store may also choose to sell online with approval from TSP.
Retailers are not authorized to offer our product on and third-party websites. Violations to this policy will be penalized the following way:
- 1st Sales Violation: First Warning
- 2nd Sales Violation: Second Warning plus shipments will be held until TSP product is taken off third party website.
- 3rd Violation: Third Warning. ACCOUNT WILL BE CLOSED. Remaining open orders will be picked up but TSP will not enter new orders. Accounts with previous violations will not be re-opened.
Other Policies:
At no point will TSP enter conversation with end customer. All dealers are expected to have their own customer service function.
As The Shabby Parlor, LLC remains a retail store, we will not accept Dealers within 75 miles of our territory, at this time.
At this time, The Shabby Parlor maintains their own brand separate from their Dealers. As such, Dealers may not use TSP pictures or marketing on their website, social media pages, or other platforms on or offline. Dealers will be responsible to create their own marketing, staging, and photos of product. Violations will be immediately penalized.
The Shabby Parlor, LLC reserves the right to adjust pricing without notice.
Product measurements, color, descriptions are approximate only and while they should not vary wildly, it is possible there will be minor variations from each production. TSP cannot guarantee exact specifications.
Tran-Shipping is not allowed and accounts will be permanently closed if TSP is offered in an unapproved location.
